Business development to exec coaching...

New Business & Partnerships
Considering how to improve your new business? Maybe you have a small team or rely on the founder or inconsistent inbound enquiries for sales success. You might need to clarify your ICP, re-focus a stalling sales effort, or broaden your client base away from a lone pillar client.
An experienced commercial partner to advise on new business strategy would be a great addition, but comes with a hefty full time salary.
If this is ringing true, potentially having a fractional business development director to provide the strategic insight and guidance, or to execute and deliver your sales strategy for a fraction of the cost, might be a good fit.
I have a couple of slots open to work with clients on a monthly retainer. Helping shape strategy, work with BDMs, and now taking on the business development work for selected companies, helping them get to the next stage of growth.
Together, we'll look at where your business development is falling down and not delivering what your business needs. This might be an ineffective lead gen and sales process; poor opportunity evaluation; wrong people involved in the sales process or lack of the right person and skillset to be the client development face of the business.
I use a few tried and tested principles I've picked up over the years from studying various sales training methodologies. A couple that really resonated and fit my consultative style of business development are Sandler Training and SPIN selling.
Both of these advocate levelling the playing field; being comfortable disqualifying leads; having clearly defined goals driving every stage of the process, and shaping the narrative towards the client convincing themselves of the need to work with you rather than you having overly sell the idea.
The feedback from small business owners to having an experienced commercial partner to sound board, sense check initiatives, curate new programs and get clarity on strategy, is really positive.
So, book in a exploratory call and we can discuss if we can help.
Rate: retainer is from £500 - £2000/month depending on individual requirements.
